Smallholder farmers—especially women and youth—face chronic challenges:

1. Limited access to quality seeds and inputs
2. Poor technical support and training
3. Unpredictable weather and yields
4. Lack of access to premium market

These barriers contribute to poverty, food insecurity, and declining interest in agriculture among young people. Sulma addresses these issues through tech-enabled, human-centered solutions.
