Sulma Whole Foods was founded by Aisha Chepngetich Langat, who grew up in a farming family and saw first-hand how much work farmers put into their farms compared with the income they earned.
After graduating in Agricultural Economics, Aisha began working on practical solutions that could help smallholder farmers improve productivity and reach better markets. What began as an effort to solve challenges faced by families like her own grew into Sulma Whole Foods.
Today, Sulma combines agriculture, technology, finance and markets to help farmers build profitable and climate-resilient businesses.
